#45. All Periods. "The Failure of Compromise Over Slavery." We will look at the Missouri Compromise (1820), The Compromise of 1850, and the Kansas-Nebraska Act (1854) to understand the failed struggle to keep the US together, despite slavey.

First, Complete the Actively Learn "New States, Old Troubles: Slavery and Western Expansion."

Second, Using the information learned from the Actively Learn, make a chart to show what the pro-slavery's expansion side got out of each compromise vs what the anti-slavery's expansion side got out of each compromise.
